What Is The Best Way To Potty Train A Puppy? Try This………

So the big question remains, “What is the best way to potty train a puppy?”. And the answer is…………….?

Well it depends on who you ask. Everybody has a different opinion on what they think is best. Ask a dog breeder and they will tell you one thing, a dog trainer, they will tell you something else, and your next door neighbor, well, he has his “expert” opinion too and on and on it goes.

So, what really does work? Well we do know this, both puppies and adult dogs love to go on grass. That is their natural habitat, right? Problem is that not everyone has a grassy backyard to take their puppy in to do their  business. And lets face it, when a puppy has to go, he has to go and the grass in the backyard (if you do have one) is usually a pretty long ways away for them to wait.

So, what if you could bring the grassy backyard to your puppy? Inside even? Now wouldn’t that be cool?

Well you can do just that with a self contained grass dog potty for your new puppy. These things are so great for training your puppy to go on grass. They can be put in the room that your puppy sleeps in (or next to their crate) or even on the porch or balcony of your apartment or condo.

When your puppy has to go it’s right there for them and it’s teaching them to go on grass at the same time. When using a puppy potty, you should always leave it in one spot so your puppy will begin to understand that this is the place to relieve themselves. When they go on the potty, be sure and praise them and even give them a treat.

They say it is best for very young puppies to go in a controlled environment, at least until they have had all their shots, so a puppy potty is perfect for this.

Once a puppy is trained on a puppy potty, it makes the transition to going outside so much easier. They have been trained to go on grass early on (even though it is synthetic dog grass) so now going on the outside grass makes perfect sense to them.

An indoor puppy  potty can continue to be used as an inside dog potty after they have been housebroken too. With busy work schedules and long hours, it’s not fair to a puppy or adult dog to have to stay in for a prolonged period of time without relieving themselves. Dog potties are really the perfect solution for busy people who are on the go but who want to have a puppy too.
